Preparing for Interviews - the Unexpected from Left Field
July 28th, 2008
All of your material should be valid whether you are applying for a job of a small company where only one person will interview you or whether you are being led through a battery of succession of interviews at a giant corporation. At each stage in the series simply take it from the top, knowing that you are simply one step closer to your goals than you were before.
The first part of the process includes being and feeling as if you were “on the spot” . Totally and completely on the spot. Or acknowledging to yourself precisely where are internally as well as externally.
To be on the spot and to perform successfully , you need to have handled , over time and experiences , as many of the known variables as you possibly can. It is all part of the game in order that you can be alert and reasy for anything thrown from left field , as a matter of course , or as a test. Be ready and prepared for the unexpected when it comes to interviews, interview styles and tactics and your interviews in person as well.
