Attache Cases as An Effective Prop at Job Interviews - Better to Carry One
June 5th, 2008
An attache case is an indispensible item for the business person and those applying for a job. Not only does it give you something to carry - it makes you look professional and has an air that you are a person of purpose. Attache cases are symbols of authority. If you see a person on Wall Street without an attache case you can bet that they are not an executive and carry little clout or power. Image as Kirk Stevens says is everything. Without it you are down on your luck and the sharks move in. An attache case is par of the mandatory business uniform of today.
Indeed some male executives carry attache cases even if they are empty , sometimes nothing more than to carry their lunch. Better an attache case than a lunch box to make that impression on the job site or the job interview office.
